It's time to begin your safari. Welcome to Tanzania! After we greet you and provide you with the trip briefing, we'll take you out to help you discover why so many people think Tanzania is the best place in Africa to go on safari.

After your arrival, you will be picked up from the airport to transfer to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight before the adventure start.
Your driver/guide will be waiting for you at the airport ready for the transfer. You'll arrive at your villa for refreshments, dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

You won’t find any more beautiful corner of the Rift Valley than Arusha National Park. Yes, you’ll see wildlife – giraffe, zebra and buffalo are present and the birdlife is wonderfully varied. But it’s the scenery here that most travelers remember, from the near-perfect volcanic cone that crowns the summit of Mt Meru to the Ngurdoto Crater, which often goes by the name of ‘Little Ngorongoro’. And by focusing on the scenery rather than the animals, your visit to Arusha National Park nicely complements the other parks of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Activity Day 2

Morning & Afternoon

After breakfast and briefing about your expected adventure, your safari driver/guide will be ready to take you into the heart of Arusha National Park. Kick off your safari by visiting Arusha National Park, a hidden gem that boasts diverse landscapes, including lush rainforests and the stunning Momella Lakes. Enjoy a game drive, spot wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and colobus monkeys, and take a guided walk to a waterfall. Enjoy the picnic lunch near the hippos pool with fascinating landscape. After lunch, you'll continue with game drive until late afternoon.
Later, you'll be back to your villa for refreshments, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a land of big baobab trees, big elephants and big cats. No wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras are also almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – Tarangire is home to one of Tanzania’s healthiest lion populations. While you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard, it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains, river woodlands and rocky hills.

Activity Day 3

Morning & Afternoon

On this day after breakfast, you'll embark into Tarangire. Embrace the moment of the transfer as it doubles the safari experience, from changes of the landscapes, people along the way and many unexpected encounter. Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. In the afternoon, enjoy picnic lunch at the cliff of Tarangire river and enjoy the bird's eye view of the river, you might encounter herds of elephants quenching some water. Later, embark on an afternoon game drive to witness the park's rich wildlife, many animals to be seen many giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas and many more.
Late in the afternoon, you'll be back at your camp for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay.

Maramboi Tented Lodge

You’ll stay close to the shore of Lake Manyara at Maramboi Tented Camp, northeast of Tarangire National Park. Enjoy wildlife excitement, big-sky views and high levels of luxury, all without straying beyond the camp’s perimeter. It’s a good place to fall in love with the whole safari experience all over again, and, not surprisingly, Maramboi gets many repeat visitors.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Welcome to the Unesco World Heritage–listed Serengeti, one of Africa’s top safari destinations. While you’re here, there’s an excellent chance that you’ll see leopards along the dry riverbanks, cheetahs out on the grasslands, and elephants, giraffes and all kinds of antelopes everywhere across the park. Watch also for the Serengeti’s famous lion prides. And that’s just the start. Some of the largest and most diverse wildlife populations on the planet roam the Serengeti, not to mention millions of wildebeest and zebras who migrate across the plains every year.

Morning & Afternoon

The exciting sounds of Africa will rouse you from your sleep. We make the most of the day, starting in the early morning. After breakfast, you'll slowly start embarking to the plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy the transfer as there's a lot to see during the transfer.

On your arrival in Serengeti, talk to your driver/guide if time allows to continue with game drive or decide to rest at your camp for refreshments, dinner and overnight at your camp.

Acacia Central Camp

Staying at Acacia Central Camp in the Serengeti means enjoying the best of what this park has to offer. Here in this tented camp you can sleep surrounded by the sounds of animals calling in the night, and look out over plains that often fill with wildlife by day. The dining, bar and lounge area also have a touch of class, and there's a nightly campfire.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

There’s no such thing as too many days in the Serengeti – today you’ll get to enjoy it all over again.

Activity Day 5

Morning & Afternoon

Embrace the unknown plains of the Serengeti. This day is flexible you can decide on how you want to start and finish your day. Talk to your friendly safari driver/guide and plan. Morning game drive, return to your camp and late evening embark to more game drive and enjoy African sunset. There's a lot of animals to see and witness their behaviours ignorer to survive in the African wilderness.

Later, you will head back to your lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Your first sight of Ngorongoro Crater is likely not one you’ll easily forget. As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa’s most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles) from one side to the other. Down in the crater itself, you’ll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that is protected by high crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle within sight of elephants and black rhinos. Your day spent here will reveal a surprising variety of habitats, from the Lereal Forest and salty Lake Magadi to the plains that rise and fall gently all across the valley floor.

Activity Day 6

Morning & Afternoon

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive when the animals are more active and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness, as we approach the Ngorongoro crater you will see the crater floor decorated with all African animals. In the afternoon, you will have picnic lunch near the Hippos pool. A small pond in the southern part of the Ngorongoro crater that is inhabited by a bloat of hippos. It is one of the few areas in the Crater whereby you are allowed to get out of your safari jeep. Enjoy the landscape of the crater floor, hippos and elephants who are graving from the distance.

After your lunch, you will slowly say goodbye to the wildlife nature but still you will be able to spot the Big 5, hyenas, zebras, and many more as you continue ascending the crater.

Later in the evening, you'll be back to your lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.

Here at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge, you have an excellent base for exploring Ngorongoro and it's a wonderful place to stay in its own right. This sophisticated place has large, high-quality rooms and service, a swimming pool, a restaurant and delightful views over the region's highland forest and the lodge's coffee plantation. Enjoy also the onsite spa.
