Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most visited national park, known for its remarkable biodiversity. It offers a variety of landscapes, from open savannahs to wetlands and tropical forests. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, abundant bird species, and the Kazinga Channel, which is home to one of the largest concentrations of hippos in Africa. The backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains adds a dramatic contrast to the diverse wildlife on display.

Accommodation Day 1 & 2

Twin Lakes Safari Lodge

Lodge Just outside Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your base for exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park is Twin Lakes Safari Lodge, an enthusiastically owner-managed lodge set on the lip of the Kichwamba Escarpment. The wood-and-canvas cottages all have a private balcony offering sweeping views over the national park’s southern plains. Don't forget to wander across the road for another fine view, one embracing the beautiful crater lakes Katinda and Milambi, as referred to in the lodge’s name.
